Software duties included maintaining and upgrading e-commerce website build with Woocommerce and PHP, but were a small part of my job.

Performed varied duties in this small natural insect control product manufacturer - whatever needed to be done. Increased gross margin to 60% and EBITDA to 22%. Created pricing schedule. Negotiated over $1.4M buyout. Demonstrated products at trade shows to open new sales channels. Discovered and negotiated with vendors to procure ingredients and packaging supplies. Researched chemistry to invent new products. Manufactured and improved products. Ensured compliance with state and federal regulations. Assisted with legal strategy that led to buyout.

Coded first version and led development team (10 developers) of flagship software. Project grew to include PHP and Drupal plugins, C, C#, Python, Linux Shell Scripts, FFmpeg, Java, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

On the strength of this project, the company sold for $40M in 2015. Transitioned to lead the operations team, ensuring the software was working and up-to-date. Held a Top Secret security clearance. Developed without Internet access due to restrictions of secure environments. Became company expert on Department of Defense security requirements (STIGs). Trained staff members about software development and processes.

Reached a peak audience in 2015 of approximately 2,000 users through Play Store and F-Droid. No longer published, but kept up-to-date with the latest Android frameworks such as RxAndroid, Kotlin, and Room
